LATAM Partners is seeking a Commercial Project Estimator & Coordinator to support a U.S.-based construction company from our offices in Guadalajara. This role is essential in managing the full project lifecycle — from preconstruction estimating through project closeout. The selected candidate will prepare quotes, analyze architectural documents, manage vendor relations, track submittals and purchase orders, and support field teams in project execution. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role ideal for someone with strong estimating and coordination experience in commercial construction.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating & Preconstruction
Review architectural documents and floorplans to identify key project specifications.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and takeoffs using tools such as M² or On-Screen Takeoff.
Organize and manage vendor quotes, ensuring accuracy in quantities, specs, and jobsite info.
Compile and submit product data, submittals, and compliance documentation.
Track approvals and manage physical sample requests as needed.
Project Administration & Client Submittals
Generate and process pay applications in line with contract billing schedules.
Submit invoices and required documentation to meet contract compliance.
Maintain organized project folders and archives for future reference.
Material Procurement & Logistics
Place and verify purchase orders with vendors and manufacturers.
Track deliveries, backorders, and lead times.
Coordinate with the warehouse on stored materials and documentation.
Address discrepancies and file claims when needed.
Field & Team Support
Provide jobsite documentation and schedule coordination for superintendents and installers.
Update floorplans when field conditions or client needs change.
Serve as a liaison between field, office, and client to resolve issues effectively.
Communication & Closeout
Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and field staff via phone or email.
Deliver physical samples or project documents to clients or general contractors.
Prepare and submit all closeout documents including lien waivers and warranties.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating or project coordination.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and takeoff/estimation software (e.g., M², On-Screen Takeoff, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore).
Experience with U.S. measurement systems and construction practices.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
English Level: B1+ preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize under deadlines.
